What will happen to prices?

People with upper middle class incomes or higher may not be concerned about prices like the rest of America. However, middle class people and below wonder how prices of products will be affected under this trade strategy.

Prices would be kept from rising by:

By eliminating the costs of tariffs

By eliminating the costs of anti-dumping penalties By eliminating the costs of all other protectionist measures

Competition would force the reduction of the excessive profit margins that are now being attained by Chinese and other foreign trade partners.
